Delivery and Returns

 

Delivery

Orders are fulfilled from stock either by us or directly from the manufacturers.

UK & EU Deliveries

Order before 1pm Monday – Thursday for same/next day processing
• Standard Delivery: Estimated delivery within 4 working days.
• Shipping cost will be shown in your shopping cart according to the country selected.
• VAT free delivery is available against a valid EU registered VAT number. This can be entered and checked automatically during checkout.
• UK VAT will be applied to all retail orders or orders without a valid EU VAT number.

Worldwide Deliveries – outside UK & EU

Shipping costs to countries outside UK & EU will be provided upon request. Please contact us.

Request for Quotation?

To request a quotation please email or telephone us with details of your requirements. We aim to respond to all quotation requests within 24 hours.

Do I need to register to place an order?

You do not need to register or open an account with us to place an order. Registering on Zealmedilab does offer benefits of being able to track your orders, view order history and retain your details for future orders. Your privacy is not affected as we will never disclose or sell our customers’ account or personal details to third parties.

Which courier service do we use?

We use UPS for delivery throughout UK & Europe with the exception of small orders where we may use Royal Mail. A tracking number will be provided for all courier deliveries.

Does someone have to be in to receive the parcel?

All deliveries,  require a signature. If you need to leave special instructions for delivery please use the Comments box during checkout.

Will I receive a VAT invoice?

All orders will receive a VAT Invoice after shipment.

Returns

What about Returns? If you have any reason to be dissatisfied with your purchase please contact us by email scientific@zeal co.uk or telephone +44 (0)20 8542 2283 to discuss in person with a friendly member of our team who will be delighted to assist you. Returns & Cancellations

We want you to be delighted and fully appreciate our products as much as we do. We believe you can’t buy better quality, or get better value. If you are not happy with your purchase, please let us know immediately and we will do our best to resolve the problem. If you do need to return a product you will need to pay for the return postage direct to the manufacturer. We recommend you obtain a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held liable for the loss or damage of any parcel on its return journey. All we ask is that before you make a return you send an email to scientific@zeal.co.uk with your order reference number (found on the packing slip or invoice) and the reason for the return. We will reply within 24 hours the address to send to. Please do not return your item unless you have arranged it with us first.

All returns for credit must be unused and in new condition, it must include original outer packaging, all software (if applicable), inner packing materials, and accessories. Returns must be received by us within 30 days of the date shipped to you.

Note: A charge of 25% of invoice value or a minimum charge of £10.00, in respect of packaging and administration, may be levied on goods ‘Not Wanted’ or ‘Incorrectly Ordered’, or due to duplication resulting from a ‘Confirmation Order’ not endorsed to that effect. All goods returned under this category must be received in their original supplied condition and returned to us within 30 days of the original invoice date. The purchaser will bear all costs of returning any goods. No goods that have been specifically manufactured to the purchaser’s requirements, can be returned for credit unless previously agreed with Zeal. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We reserve the right to refuse a return or to charge a restocking fee for used, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise non-conforming returns. In addition, there may be some restrictions on certain products being returned, such as:

  • Consumables (e.g. Hygienic products, Anti-static cloths and gloves etc.) once their primary packaging or inner wrapping has been opened.
  • Products such as microscopes or balances which have been exposed to hazardous materials
  • Products that are no longer in a new usable condition

When your parcel is received, we will notify you by email and check the contents. Unless you have requested an exchange, we will automatically refund your payment. If you have requested an exchange, we will send your replacement item.

All refunds will be made to the original purchaser using the same card or account. Please note that we will not refund any carriage fees (except if you have received the wrong product).

Please allow 14 days from receipt for your return to be fully processed.

Cancelling an order

We appreciate that on occasions mistakes are made and orders need to be cancelled or postponed. When that’s the case, please contact us immediately.
